HERE IS OUR FULL REVIEW

This offering form Foodscience of Vermont is a quality product without the hype. They don’t make any claims they can’t support with medical research and the krill oil comes from quality sources

But is Neptune Krill Oil worth your hard earned cash?

Ingredients

Neptune Krill Oil from Foodscience of Vermont is made from high quality ingredients that contain an Omega-3 profile similar to it’s competition. There is nothing flashy or special about this supplement, it does it’s job well. It has 300 mg of Omega-3 per serving, which may not be a whole lot but it’s pretty standard for the pricing point.

In addition, you are getting EPA, DHA, and vitamins A and E which support joint, skin, and bone health.

Serving Size and Taste

I’m not sure if this is a rare occurrence, but some of my caplets broke in the bottle. I had fish oil everywhere (or crustacean, which is what krill oil is). I don’t think this happens often, but in my case it did. Really left a bad taste in my mouth (what a pun, oh man that’s funny) since everything was covered in fishy oils.

Results

If you’ve taken other krill oils, you won’t get anything different here. The mental alertness, energy boost, and lowering of blood pressure are the immediate results you can see right away. I can’t speak on behalf of any bone or joint support, since I don’t have any problems or degenerative bone diseases. Specific results aren’t guaranteed, however, and experiences may vary.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

Same Omega-3 benefits you’d find in any other krill oil.

Everything’s offered at a good price.

Easy to swallow caplets.

High quality ingredients, all natural.

Cons:

The caplets broke on me, effectively making everything taste like fishy grossness.

It doesn’t offer anything different from other fish oils.

OUR FINAL CONCLUSION

Neptune Krill Oil by Foodscience of Vermont is a good, middle-road fish oil supplement. It's full of high quality ingredients and has a good concentration of Omega-3 fatty acids to balance out your Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio. I had a uniquely bad experience with these, however, as a few of the caplets broke in the bottle and I was left with krill oil soup. Everything tasted extremely fishy because of that. All in all, this fish oil doesn't do anything special but you could definitely do worse.
